Finally there is some good news to report about the Carolina Panthers offensive line. Wednesday, the club extended center/guard Tyler Larsen to a two-year $4.4 million extension with $1.4 million in guaranteed cash per multiple media reports.
The former Utah State product played in 14 games last season, starting 10 of them. This could be viewed as a continuation of a positive trend during his rookie season of 2016. That year, he appeared in nine games, starting five of them.
As Jourdan Rodrigue of the Charlotte Observer pointed out, this is a huge signing for the team.
