Two truths and a lie make Sean McDermott a great defensive coordinator

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Sean McDermott was a two-time national champion wrestler in high school at 171 pounds.

McDermott carved bears out of tree stumps for a summer job while growing up in Pennsylvania.

McDermott walked on at William & Mary and ultimately became a team captain.

Two truths. One lie. Can you pick out which is which?

If you play for McDermott, you might have to. He believes great defenses are about more than X's and O's. He believes they are about relationships, players knowing and trusting in each other like they would a family member.
