Two Panthers Suspended

Defensive end Wes Horton has been suspended without pay for the team's next four games, Weeks 12-15, for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.

He will be eligible to return to the Panthers' active roster on Monday, Dec. 21 following the team's game against the New York Giants on Dec. 20.

In eight games with two starts this season, the third-year player from Southern California has recorded eight tackles, one sack and six quarterback pressures. During his first two seasons, Horton played in 26 games with 15 starts and posted 34 tackles, five sacks, nine quarterback pressures, one forced fumble and one pass defensed.
