The Panthers have a clear and definite need for an offensive tackle. Quite frankly, they need more than one. The Panthers currently have two tackles on the roster who have played in an NFL game (Taylor Moton and Matt Kalil), and one who signed a reserve future contract in December (Isaiah Battle). Basic math tells us that’s simply not enough depth to get through an entire season, especially when you factor in Kalil’s injury history.
Today we’ve argued that the Panthers should use some of their draft capital on acquiring an offensive tackle.
