Tony Romo exits game with shoulder injury

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo left Thursday’s game against the Carolina Panthers after taking a bit hit from a Panthers linebacker at the end of the third quarter.

Romo had been beaten up throughout most of the game, and a hit from Thomas Davis knocked him out of the NFC matchup.

The Cowboys quarterback dropped back to pass, and it wasn’t long before Davis came bursting through the interior of the Dallas offensive line. Romo then got drilled by the Panthers linebacker and landed on his shoulder.

Sirius XM’s David Chao explained what happened on the play.
