Tina Becker, one of the top female executives in all of the NFL, resigned her position as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Carolina Panthers. As new owner David Tepper takes control of the team he has set out to put his imprint on the organization and Becker leaving appears to be one of the first changes.
After enduring an unusually high amount of turnover, even for the NFL, from top to bottom throughout the franchise, there could be more changes forthcoming. Tepper recently completed the purchase of the Panthers for a record $2.275 billion – the highest amount ever paid for a sports franchise in the United States.
