In an off-season laden with rumours and uncertainty, General Manager Dave Gettleman has somehow managed to ensure the Carolina Panthers got stronger and not weaker.
Josh Norman’s exit looks as if it may backfire on Gettleman, though the drafting of three cornerbacks in the NFL Draft in May suggests the odds are heavily stacked in the 65-year-old’s favor that at least one of the rookies will prove the rescinding of Norman’s franchise tag to be the correct decision.
