The Carolina Panthers drafted Thomas Davis in the first-round (No. 14 overall) of the 2005 NFL Draft. For the following 14 seasons, Davis led as a member of the defense both on and off the field.
Missing time in the middle of his career with knee injuries, Davis made a commitment to return and return he did. Earning an All Pro selection and Pro Bowl nomination for the first time ever in 2015, he continued a high level of production with two more Pro Bowl appearances in 2016 and 2017.
His performance last season seemed hindered more due to a four-game suspension to start the year than any level of execution.
