When I wrote earlier in the week about the injury to Matt Kalil being the best worst thing that could happen to the future of the offensive line, I didn’t expect to see the kind of immediate results I saw last night against the New England Patriots. I thought I might get a few glimmers of hope from guys like Taylor Moton, Jeremiah Sirles, Greg Van Roten, and even Blaine Clausell... but I didn’t expect for Cam Newton to walk away without being sacked a single time, and only pressured maybe once or twice.
