Shit happened last Thursday night, per Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera. What didn’t happen was anything that outright ruined the teams plans to play football in January. The Panthers are currently tied for the third best win-loss record in the NFC heading into Week 11. They are behind the class of the NFL in the New Orleans Saints and the Los Angeles Rams. They are tied with Washington and the Chicago Bears, each of whom lead their divisions. That’s not a bad place to be for a team with as many weaknesses as Pittsburgh exposed last week.
