Terrance Knighton aka “Pot Roast” which is one of the best lineman nicknames of all time, has recently been hired as an assistant coach for the Carolina Panthers, and one would assume given his league history he will be helping with the interior defensive linemen primarily. During his relatively short NFL career, Knighton was a solid to borderline very good player. He played nose tackle and 1-tech primarily, but had some decent pass rushing ability and bountiful strength.
Sounds a lot like Derrick Brown, who came into the NFL as a very highly touted nose tackle and just finished an outstanding first season for the Panthers.
