The Carolina Panthers bolstered their defense over the past week with several key defensive signings, including pass rusher Haasan Reddick, inside linebacker Denzel Perryman and reserve defensive lineman Morgan Fox. Reddick played for Panthers head coach Matt Rhule at Temple University, just as last offseason’s signing wide receiver Robby Anderson did.
Panthers fans have plenty of room for optimism this offseason with a slick-looking revamped front seven.
Reddick joins Brian Burns, Derrick Brown, Mike Panasiuk and Yetur Gross-Matos on an impressive line, while Perryman will join Shaq Thompson and Jeremy Chinn at linebacker. Veteran cornerback Rashaan Melvin has also been added as depth for the secondary.
