CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Carolina Panthers still believe Stephen Hill can be a factor in their wide receiving corps.
That’s why they re-signed Hill to a one-year deal on Monday after he missed the 2015 season with a torn ACL and was suspended for one game for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.
Hill has been rehabbing with 2014 first-round pick Kelvin Benjamin, who also missed last season with a torn ACL suffered in training camp. Both are on target to be ready for the 2016 season.
