Should the Carolina Panthers consider trading for Jamal Adams?

Outspoken safety Jamal Adams is reportedly unhappy with the New York Jets and is looking for a way out of the franchise.

This is an area of need for the Carolina Panthers after releasing Eric Reid this offseason. But would the franchise be open to trading for the sixth overall selection in the 2017 NFL Draft?

There is little doubt that Adams would instantly upgrade the safety position in Carolina. The organization re-signed Tre Boston to a three-year, $18 million deal this offseason and brought in Juston Burris from the Cleveland Browns.
