The Carolina Panthers (5-0) have apparently had enough of losing tight, close, competitive ball-games at the hands of the NFC West Seattle Seahawks (2-4) as they earned an impressive 27-23 road victory today in CenturyLink Field.
Panthers’ quarterback Cam Newton led Carolina on four 80-yard touchdown drives in the game against one of the most feared defenses in the league and with the 12s against them.
Carolina pulled within three with 3:55 remaining in the game when the Panthers completed a 9-play, 80-yard drive on a Jonathan Stewart 1-yard TD run. Carolina kicker Graham Gano missed the extra point as Seattle held a three-point lead at 23-20.
