Three of the funniest and smartest guys to walk the Carolina Panthers’ locker room have combined on a fun sports book meant to help first-year players in the NFL.
All-Pro center Ryan Kalil, former left tackle Jordan Gross and offensive lineman Geoff Hangartner co-authored “The Rookie Handbook: How to Survive the First Season in the NFL.” The 176-page book will be released Sept. 6, just two days before the start of the 2016 season.
“This one-of-a-kind manual uses illustrations and humor to examine the day-to-day life of a professional football player, through the lens of a rookie,” a release from Regan Arts reads.
