Ron Rivera was at Coliseum the day the Trojan horse 'almost died'

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers coach Ron Rivera’s most memorable moment at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum had nothing to do with a football play.

He was there the day the Trojan horse “almost died."

If you’re not familiar, a white horse named Traveler, mounted by a Trojan warrior, is on the sideline for every University of Southern California home game. He gallops around the Coliseum when USC scores while the school band plays the fight song.
