If I could only use one word to describe the Carolina Panthers 26-0 road loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars it would be “horrible”.
Carolina’s offense was inept as I’ve seen an NFL team in a long while. Every offensive player and coach had a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad Week 17. After a promising 13-play drive to open the game, the Panthers offense had six straight three-and-outs. Carolina averaged 2.3 yards per play on the day and gained just 124 net yards. Carolina was shut out for the first time since 2002. It was a brutally bad performance.
