Like each of you, I’ve endured a lot of bad football from the Carolina Panthers over the last five years. Despite being numb to losing at this point, Sunday’s 28-6 loss to the New Orleans Saints was as dispiriting as it gets. Ejiro Evero’s defense, on the whole, played well despite the offense repeatedly giving the Saints favorable field position. There is little else to be positive or hopeful about.
The 1-12 Panthers are a complete organizational mess from the front office to the coaching staff to many of the personnel.
That said, I have nothing but respect for every Panthers player that continues to give full effort, takes accountability, and refuses to quit.
