The Carolina Panthers drafted three cornerbacks last year and they may add more in the upcoming NFL Draft. According to ESPN’s Michael Rothstein, the Carolina Panthers have a visit scheduled with Channing Stribling on April 7th.
The former Michigan Wolverine cornerback played in 36 games over four years but it wasn’t until his senior year that he had his best season. He finished last year with 29 tackles, his only career sack, four interceptions and 12 passes defended.
Lance Zierlien of NFL.com wrote about Stribling in his scouting report:
Linear press corner who took advantage of newly-found playing time and produced results.
