The Carolina Panthers have been cautious with Cam Newton since his setback earlier in training camp. The team has limited his work and kept him out of the first two preseason games, including Saturday’s 34-27 loss to the Tennessee Titans.
Well, it sounds like they believe Newton is ready to increase his workload in hopes he will be ready for Thursday night’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
According to the team’s site, head coach Ron Rivera said after the Titans game about Cam Newton:”We’ll increase his throws and then make a decision with what’s going to happen Thursday night in Jacksonville.
