The Carolina Panthers are exploring the possibility of trading down, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rappaport.
The organization currently has just eight selections at their disposal heading into the Draft. With a number of positions needing an upgrade, the Panthers are now said to be taking calls with anyone that wants to move into the No. 7 spot.
Any such move would allow the Panthers to acquire more selections that could assist with their current rebuild. They are in desperate need of additional pieces after letting a host of seasoned veterans leave the organization in free agency.
