RB Rashaad Penny has retired

Head coach Dave Canales has announced that running back Rashaad Penny has retired. The Carolina Panthers signed Penny in May. The former first round pick brought potential upside as he looked to restart his career in the Carolinas as well as some familiarity with Canales from their shared time with the Seattle Seahawks.
