CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Tight end Greg Olsen expects to play when the undefeated Carolina Panthers face the New York Giants on Sunday, but running back Jonathan Stewart's status is uncertain.
Also, the Panthers signed cornerback Robert McClain to take the roster spot of Bene' Benwikere, who was placed on injured reserve on Tuesday after suffering a fractured leg in Sunday's 38-0 victory over Atlanta Falcons.
Olsen suffered what he called a sprained knee late in the first half against the Falcons. He told ESPN.com while doing a promotion for Buffalo Wild Wings on Tuesday that an MRI revealed no significant damage.
