CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Greg Olsen doesn't mind going over the middle for a pass between a linebacker and a safety, but put him in a pace car going 120 miles per hour with a few obstacles in the way and the Carolina Panthers tight end gets a bit nervous.
OK, a lot nervous.
"Damn right!" Olsen said Wednesday after his first trip around Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Olsen was at CMS to be certified to drive the pace car for Saturday night's Sprint All-Star race. Before he got behind the wheel, Cup driver Matt DiBenedetto took him for a warm-up spin.
