Panthers WR Kevin Norwood still waiting to catch another opportunity

The Seattle Seahawks drafted Kevin Norwood in the fourth round of the 2014 draft and hardly used him before trading him at the start of this season to the Carolina Panthers.

How badly does he want to beat the Seahawks?

“How badly do I want to play?” Norwood responded rhetorically.

While he was able to laugh about it, the frustration was clear. Norwood has been inactive for all but one game this season and there’s no indication that will change this week.

With the Kelvin Benjamin injury fresh and questions in the receiving group, the Panthers traded a conditional late-round pick in the 2017 draft to Seattle to get Norwood in late August.
