Panthers WR Devin Funchess and his 1,000 yard campaign

The Panthers’ offense was subpar last season, to say the least. You could attribute that to many things. Most common were injuries, trades, and questionable play calling. But one bright light to the 2017 season was wide receiver Devin Funchess.

Funchess really stepped things up when Panthers surprisingly traded wideout Kelvin Benjamin to the Bills. He finished the season with a career high 840 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. According to Pro Football Focus, Funchess only had three drops on 66 catchable passes for a 4.55 drop rate, tying him for No.
