CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Carolina Panthers don’t plan to change their hotel security plans for Sunday’s game at Tennessee.
The last time the Panthers (8-0) played on the road the fire alarm on the team floors went off at 5:40 a.m. before they played the Seattle Seahawks.
Players and other team personnel had to stand outside for almost half an hour before being cleared by the fire department to return to their rooms.
The hotel and the NFL investigated the matter to see if there was any malicious attempt to disrupt the Panthers prior to the game.
