Although the Carolina Panthers escaped in the driving rain against the Indianapolis Colts with a 29-26 victory on Monday Night Football, the wide receiving corps still remains in question.
Cam Newton once again led the team on the offensive side of the ball when they needed it the most through the air and on the ground, but once again, no wide receiver clearly shined and stepped up.
Cam hit seven different players with completions – Greg Olsen, Jerricho Cotchery, Corey Brown, Devin Funchess, Mike Tolbert, Jonathan Stewart and Ted Ginn, Jr.
Greg Olsen has become Cam’s security blanket and Olsen bails Cam out most of the time.
