After dropping a pivotal divisional game last week, the Carolina Panthers host conference leading Minnesota for the second straight season. Last year, the Vikings dismantled Carolina 22-10 racking up eight sacks and three interceptions.
Defense remains a strong point for the Vikings, winners of eight straight. Minnesota already owns wins over the remainder of the NFC South beating New Orleans, Tampa Bay and Atlanta just last week.
Win or lose the Panthers will remain in the playoff picture for another week but changes around them could loosen their grip on the sixth seed. A win would greatly help Carolina’s cause with three to play following.
