The Panthers open their preseason in Foxboro against the Patriots at 7:00 tonight.
The current version of the preseason has featured very few key players taking significant reps. New head coach Dave Canales is doing the same thing. He’s already said that Bryce Young won’t be playing, and rookie wide receiver Xavier Legette is being held out with a foot injury. Most of the rest of the ones will probably get the night off as well. But it’s (technically) Panthers football.
