The Panthers continue their slog towards the cold embrace of the end of the season, this time against the divisional rival Falcons. The injuries continued to mount this week, as the Panthers placed TE Hayden Hurst and OG Justin McCray on injured/reserve. Let’s dive in.
Panthers Injury Report
- TE Hayden Hurst (concussion), OG Justin McCray (calf), TE Ian Thomas (ankle) - Out: Hurst and McCray are done for the season, which means the Panthers will be severely shorthanded at both tight end and guard. Guard has been by far the worst position as far as turnover, so Nash Jensen and Cade Mays are slated to start at those positions, while at tight end Stephen Sullivan and Tommy Tremble will be tasked with picking up the extra reps.
