Last week in the leadup to the Carolina Panthers’ matchup with the Houston Texans, I wrote about the necessity of containing J.J. Watt in order to come out on top.
The Panthers wound up winning 24-17, and managed to keep Watt in check well enough. Watt was only able to get to Cam Newton twice and sack him once. He finished the game with just five tackles.
