It's been an active day as 32 teams have trimmed their rosters from 90 to 53 players. After Carolina announced its 53-man roster, rumors brewed about interest in one of the two field-kickers the team retained. News broke around 4 pm that Carolina made a trade with the Bills, but it was a kick returner they shipped out in Kaelin Clay and a 7th round pick for Kevon Seymor.
Clay had a strong finish to the preseason, demonstrating his playmaking ability on special teams and flashes at receiver. The Bills are dying for any help in their receiving corps after trading Sammie Watkins only to lose Jordan Matthews immediately to injury.
