CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Carolina Panthers next week will interview interim general manager Marty Hurney and Houston Texans assistant GM Jimmy Raye III for the full-time general manager position, multiple sources told ESPN.com.
Hurney was hired on an interim basis the week before training camp to replace Dave Gettleman, who was fired by team owner Jerry Richardson.
Gettleman was hired in December of 2013 to replace Hurney, who was fired after a 1-5 start to the 2012 season.
At the time he was hired, team officials said Hurney would help find the full-time GM.
