Panthers to get a good look at Shaq Lawson, Kevin Dodd at Clemson Pro Day

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The re-signing of Charles Johnson doesn't mean the Carolina Panthers won't take a defensive end with the 30th pick of the NFL draft.

Remember, Johnson signed only a one-year deal and will be 30 this season.

The Panthers will get a chance to look at three first-round candidates Thursday at Clemson, where the college football runner-ups will hold their Pro Day. Two of them happen to be defensive ends.
