The Carolina Panthers are promoting WRÂ Brenton Bersin from their practice squad on Saturday, according to Jonathan Jones.
Bersin, 25, signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of Wofford back in 2012. He was brought back on a one-year deal worth $510,000 back in March.
However, he was among their early roster cuts from a few weeks ago.
In 2014, Bersin appeared in 15 games for the Panthers and caught 13 pases for 151 yards receiving and a touchdown.
