According to multiple sources, including the team itself, the Carolina Panthers have agree to an extension with right tackle Taylor Moton. Accodring to Adam Schefter, the deal will be a four year extension worth a total of $72 million, including $43 million guaranteed. The team had previously franchise tagged Moton. Teams and franchised players had until 4pm today to finalize long term deals, and the Panthers got their deal done just in time.
The deal averages $18 million per season, which puts Moton just outside the top five highest paid offensive linemen on a per year basis.
