The Panthers made a long anticipated addition to the safety position on Wednesday when they signed five-year veteran Stevie Brown, according to Ian Rapaport.
Since being drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the seventh round of the 2010 draft, Brown has bounced around the league. In total he’s played in 55 games with three different teams. Brown has also been on the offseason roster of multiple teams – most recently the Kansas City Chiefs – before being cut and he sat out the entire 2015 season.
Brown‘s most productive stint came with the Giants from 2012-2014.
