The Carolina Panthers announced Tuesday that they’ve signed LB Spencer Paysinger to a contract and placed LB Jared Norris on injured reserve.
- The Panthers also signed LB Richie Brown to their practice squad.
The Panthers’ practice squad now consists of:

- WR Jamaal Jones
- CB Zack Sanchez
- RB Jalen Simmons
- DB Dezmen Southward

Paysinger, 29, wound up signing on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon back in 2011.
