Panthers sign former BYU receiver Micah Simon

The Carolina Panthers have signed undrafted free agent Micah Simon to a three-year, minimum salary deal. Simon entered the 2020 NFL draft after graduating from Brigham Young University, but went undrafted and was unable to latch on with a team during the pandemic. He attended his college program’s 2021 pro day where he was able to impress new Panthers general manager Scott Fitterer enough to earn a deal.

Zach Wilson wasn’t the only standout at BYU pro day last week. Former Cougars WR Micah Simon -- undrafted last year after COVID wiped out his pro day -- caught passes from Wilson, ran a reported 4.
