Panthers Set to Break Training Camp Record

The 2016 season is less than a week old and already the Carolina Panthers are breaking records.

A season removed from a Super Bowl appearance, excitement is at an all-time high for fans of the black and blue. In only five practices the Panthers have drawn 59,733 fans to Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina for training camp.

The record number of attendees, set last year, was 77,525 throughout the entire camp season (14 practices). Carolina is averaging 11,946 patrons, per practice, in 2016 and with 10 practices remaining could double the current record.

The increased excitement and support surrounding the Panthers has not only been seen in Spartanburg, but also back home in Charlotte.
