CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Carolina Panthers aren’t dabbing and dancing as they did in 2015 en route to the NFC Championship. They aren’t posing for group pictures on the sideline as they did several times that season near the end of games.
But they are a loose bunch.
They were loose even in the tightest of situations on Sunday when trailing the New York Jets 20-18 with less than 13 minutes remaining.
There was no sense of panic, which often turns a bad situation into an even worse one. There was no feeling they were going to lose to a team they were favored to beat.
