Panthers reduce roster by eight

CHARLOTTE – The Panthers began the process of reducing their roster to 75 by parting ways with eight players Sunday.

Five undrafted rookies along with linebacker Kevin Reddick and recently added veteran tight end Dallas Walker were waived, and offensive tackle Tony Hills was terminated/vested veteran.

The roster now stands at 81 players. It must be trimmed to 75 by Tuesday at 4 p.m., then to 53 for the regular season by Saturday at 4 p.m.
