With the season nearing its halfway point, the Carolina Panthers are going to be tasked sooner rather than later with making some hard decisions about their roster. The roster, even if it were healthy, is clearly not talented enough to compete consistently in the NFL.
This season had been about talent evaluation. It is a time to determine the value of everybody from Bryce Young to Jammie Robinson. Guys like Xavier Legette, Ja’Tavion Sanders, Trevin Wallace, and Claudin Cherelus have raised some eyebrows in recent weeks. Others, not so much.
The question in front of most fans and observers of the Carolina Panthers is what to do with the quality players we have when the rebuild process could last longer than the primes of some of their careers.
