Charlotte, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers have re-signed defensive tackle Kyle Love to a two-year contract extension, the team announced Wednesday morning.
Love has played 25 games with four starts in two seasons with Carolina, tallying 35 tackles, 4.5 sacks and two fumble recoveries.
The veteran defensive tackle joined Carolina in 2014 after spending time with the Kansas City Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars and New England Patriots.
New England signed Love as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Mississippi State in 2010.
Love was waived during Carolina’s final roster cuts on Sept. 3 but re-signed 24 days later.
