CHARLOTTE – Cornerback and special teams contributor Teddy Williams has re-signed with the Panthers, inking a one-year contract for the 2017 season. Williams officially became an unrestricted free agent when the new league year began March 9.
Williams recorded his first career interception last season before suffering a season-ending knee injury after playing in just three games. He's most known for his acumen on special teams, piling up 10 tackles on special teams in 2015, his first season with the Panthers.
The college track star known for his lightning speed entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie in 2010.
