Charlotte, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers have re-signed offensive lineman Chris Scott to a one-year contract, the team announced Monday morning.
Financial terms of the deal were not released.
Scott appeared in 12 games last season with four starts. He is listed at guard but played three games at right tackle last season due an injury-plagued offensive line in 2016.
Monday marked the fifth-consecutive year Carolina has signed Scott to a one-year deal.
Scott was selected by Pittsburgh with the No. 151 overall pick in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
The former Tennessee Volunteer has appeared in 43 games with 12 starts during the last four years with the Panthers.
