The Carolina Panthers announced that they’ve re-signed DE Wes Horton and placed OT David Foucault on waivers Tuesday.
Horton, 25, also signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out USC back in 2013. He was in the final year of his three-year, $1.485 million rookie contract when the Panthers cut him earlier in the week to make room for Foucault, who was promoted from their practice squad.
This year, Horton has appeared in three games and recorded two tackles for the Panthers.
