CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers running back Miles Sanders said on Tuesday he "absolutely'' will be ready for the Sept. 10 opener against the Atlanta Falcons.
The 2019 second-round pick by the Philadelphia Eagles missed the last few weeks of training camp with a groin injury that sidelined him for the first two preseason games.
But he practiced in full pads on Monday and Tuesday and showed no signs that the injury will be a problem moving forward.
At one point during Tuesday's practice, Sanders broke through the line and showed the burst that prompted the Panthers to give him a four-year, $25.
